Earlier this year, H&M have brought out a new range of beauty products. Products so good, they could compete with any Boots / High Street beauty ranges. They have makeup to makeup bags, brushes, nail polishes, face masks and so on.
I’ve heard many good things about it, but there is only one store in Ireland that does it, and it is quite far away from where I lived before so I have only gotten to see these beauties with my own eye yesterday, when I finally took the plunge to take the now shorter route.
I can confirm, they are amazing! I purchased a couple of brushes -a very thin eyebrow one, a big fluffy powder one and a beautiful angled blusher brush. I was a bit skeptical buying brushes from a high street clothes store.. But I’m so happy now that I did!! These brushes are amazing quality, have super volume, and great bounce to their bristles which is a big yes yes when it comes to brushes. I’m expecting them to last for a long time as well, and I really can’t  explain to you how worth it these guys are, all around or under €10 per brush. I’m planning on visiting to buy more, and if you’re on a budget you should too – they really are great dupes for any of the price ones available on the market at the moment.
I then got a couple of face masks, which they had a feast of. I’m not talking about 5 choices. I’m talking about at least 30 choices, 5 or 6 in each skin-type category. I was in heaven! The skin types they have are; normal, combination, oily and tired.
I got ‘Natural Clay and Quinoa’, ‘Witch Hazel and Willowherb’ and ‘Charcoal and Volcanic Soil’.
They sound fantastic don’t they? That’s because they are.
I’ve tried the Witch Hazel one and apart from smelling gorgeous, it soothed out and cleansed my face really well, which is a pretty hard job to do at the moment as I’m on antibiotics for some crazed pimple attack I’ve been having.
At €2.99 each mask, you really can’t go wrong.
I didn’t really need any new makeup but had a good peep around them too. They had everything, lipsticks, glosses, all the colours under the sun in everything. Concealers, primers for eyelids and the rest of your face. Blushers, powder and liquid foundations, eyeshadows, eyeliners and brow kits.. Do I need to go on? I’ve tried most and they were really good quality, really pigmented and lovely rich textures! I know where I’ll be going for makeup alternatives next time I’m in need!
I’ve left a link to where you can view all of their products online, which really is 5 times more than what they had in the store. The only problem is, you can’t shop online at H&M in Ireland, so it really is a catch 22. If anyone figures out how to solve this problem, please let me know because these other, unattainable products really sound amazing! I wish there was a H&M superstore… in my house!!
