I spent my Christmas back in Hungary where I am originally from and grew up.
There is a strong divide in the look of the countryside and town, much like in any other country.
I thought someone who isn’t from the East side of Europe would be interested to see behind the walls of a typical Grandmother’s (but in this case, The Best Grandmother’s) house in a small town called Hajdúnánás. What do you think? Is there as much of a difference as Irish City vs. Irish Countryside?
I’ve always thought it would be a cool idea to shoot a film here and show it to English / Irish / American etc. audiences because everything is so different.
Because it’s not the norm, people would find it refreshing and new – much like when Hungarian people find Irish landscapes so magical. Do you know what I mean??
